Main Line Hair Design is owned and operated by John Oppeltz, an award winning stylist and in-salon educator. After years working in one of the area's leading salons, John opened Main Line Hair Design in 1988 at its present location in Wayne, PA and wanted a salon that was professional with a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Whether it was a busy professional or homemaker, to call their salon.

Monica Christiana

Monica has been with Main Line Hair Design for over 17 years. She truly enjoys all aspects of the business...from cutting and coloring to making all who enter the salon feel right at home. Through the years she has studied and completed numerous hands on classes and has attended many hairstyling shows.

Robert Farrace

Robert Farrace brings years of experience to MLHD. Ninety eight percent of his career has been serving the Main Line area.

Robert has spent time in London, England, and Toronto, Canada, ensuring his skills are kept up-to-date. He is well versed in all areas of hair color, and all chemical services offered in the salon.

Lauren Oppeltz

Lauren has always wanted to follow in her father's footsteps as a hair stylist; since she was a little girl. She brings cutting edge style and humor with her advanced training in coloring and also award winning updos. Recently her work appeared in a Bridal Magazine.
